Hi and belated greetings to you all

Barny – E.R.P. Investigator.A little introduction....My name is Chris but i prefer Barny, i
was always very sceptical about ghosts and the paranormal until on
the 27
th of February 2003 my older brother was killed in a
traffic accident. As you can imagine i was devastated, and spent the
next few nights barely sleeping.
On the 3rd night after losing my
brother i was fully awake in bed about 3am just staring at the
walls when an intense, pulsating red dot appeared
on the wall close to the ceiling for about 2 seconds, all i can
describe it as was like one of those laser pointer pens you can buy.
We have blinds closed on a night and there was no way this could have
come from the outside. The next night i came home from work and
started to run a bath, i turned both taps off when it was just under
half full, went down the stairs and when i returned to the bathroom,
the cold tap was turned on fully, blasting cold water into the bath
that was barely an inch from the top ready to overflow! This was
followed by various other strange things, flickering lights, more
cold tap activity and also feeling gusts of wind passing by me on the
stairs while all the windows and doors were shut.
I genuinely thought i was losing my
mind
and decided to confide in a workmate whom i knew i could talk to
without the fear of ridicule or him spreading stories around the
factory about 'Crazy Barny' He mentioned a friend of his who was a
medium and asked if i wanted him to pop to my house. I agreed and on
the night he was coming me and my wife hid any pictures, items etc.
that could give him clues as i had heard of 'cold readings' and was
convinced this was going to be a sham. This was the 1
sttime i met Lee our resident medium at E.R.P. He came in, didn't look
around
and just introduced himself and sat
quiet on the couch with his eyes closed, me and my wife looked at
each other both thinking 'cuckoo!' then for the next hour and a half
he just turned my sceptical world upside down with the information he
started to give me, only letting me say Yes or No and not wanting any
details until the reading had finished, he was spot on with
everything and most of it was so personal and almost secretive just
between me and my brother that it was scarily accurate. But after the
reading we chatted about my physical experiences and then became the
best of friends deciding to take things further and start
investigating the paranormal and the 'Team' at E.R.P. was born.
The reason for my belated joining to
our site was the death of my Father on August 22
nd of this
year and unfortunately both my Mother and Father In-laws are
terminally ill and are not expected to see Xmas, but now at least i
know they will be in touch when they are gone by channelling through
Lee when the time is right!!
So finally a warm welcome to you all
and any stories, strange activities or any other things paranormal
you wish to share with us, please feel free because we are here to
help, share and also learn from you all, even if it sounds ridiculous
