| Hi all! My name is Mike Covell and I am an author, historian, Ripperologist and Paranormal Investigator based in Kingston upon Hull. I run a group with a great set of fellow investigators here, http://www.paranorm-hull.webs.com/I am a Ripperologist and study the crimes and times of infamous Whitechapel Murderer Jack the Ripper. I am a Moderator at jtrforums.com, and also have my own Jack the Ripper Casebook blogg here, http://blog.casebook.org/mcebe/My research also appears on the "Thisisyourmail" website, which is run by Hull Daily Mail, and I run several groups on there, Haunted Hull, Paranormal Hull, Historical Hull and Jack the Ripper and Hull. My articles have also appeared on the Hullgogetwise website, and in print in Ripperologist magazine, The Hull Daily Mail, The Hull Advertiser, BBC's Look North, BBC's Radio Humberside, and on Rippercast, Ripper Radio and several paranormal podcasts. I am well known for searching for the primary sources behind the stories and am a regular at Hull's various archival repositories. Some of my research was recently donated to Carnegie Heritage Centre in Hull, and I will be lecturing their in December on Jack the Ripper-The Hull Connection. |
