| That quote is so true. Something can be there, but if your perspective is off just a bit, you won't see it. I also tend to very really left-brained, often to a fault. I have to be completely satisfied that there isn't a natural explanation for something before I'll believe it was supernatural. That's good because it means it's harder to fool me, but it's bad because I probably miss out on some really neat things when my left-brain decides to be so dominant. I'm trying to learn to balance out my left and right brains. I think both have a purpose, but now I'm drifting way off topic! |

I've done a lot of research into orbs (at least in my past, none of it recent). I've read a great deal about them from a mystical perspective, from a scientific/mystical perspective, and from the perspective of experts in digital photography and optics. At one point I discussed them with Dr. Bruce Maccabee, a former Navy scientist who specializes in analyzing optical phenomena. Some of you may know him. He does some great work analyzing photographs and video evidence of various things.
Based on the photo alone (top photo only), they look like classic dust particulate orbs. I obviously can't say that with any certainty since I wasn't there, but that's what I see in the photo. I will change my mind in a heartbeat if there is other related evidence from that room that points significantly in another direction.
It would be nice if there were pictures taken at the same time with a non-flash camera. Then we could rule out the dust particulate idea. But as a wise mentor of mine used to say, when you hear hoofbeats, think horses, not zebras. In other words, the simplest explanation is usually the best unless there is sufficient evidence to point to a more complex explanation. In this case, even if they are real orbs, they look exactly like dust orbs. |
Thanks for sharing this with us Neiby.
