| [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]This was taken in August at a volleyball game that Kaitlyn was in. This was before the game started. I did not make it a habit of taking a picture of an empty gym, but I did this one time because all the girls were complaining of the heebee jeebee's, especially in the locker room. The school was a rebuilt old city jail. In fact in the basement there are still some old jail cells. I snapped this (its digital) with no flash thinking well, I doubt anything will show up, but then it came back FULL of energy deposits - orbs. |

| Hi czardoust,
I would tend to agree with LittleWolf, however, i know for sure that if you took the pictures aagin, either straight after or another day, they not show, i have lost count of the times ive snapped a picture with an orb then taken the picture scores of time and nothing shows.
I guess some orbs are Camera Phenomina, and others quite possibly Spirit forms, Darkstar and BeckyM have some realy good examples in there posts of what seem to be very good examples of what i would now say could be Spirit forms, the Pink orb in your Profile pic is also very interesting.
Thanks for posting them.

| [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Different volleyball game. Im sorry i dont think that all of these were reflections. The girl on the left has energy issues. She has a disease where when she is healthy, she can expel old energy and renew her strength but when she is unhealthy energy cannot release and her skin turns blue, she get swelling in that area, and loses feeling and function in that limb. The orb especially by her right foot. I think is energy being expelled from herself. Currently since volleyball season ended she is experiencing shut down in that area. |

| Well,
I can see what LittleWolf is saying about reflection, it is ver strange however that in the second picture the orbs are more precise in shape and they do seem to be just around the girls, i think to rule the second picture out as not spirit like sorbs would be hasty, i will try to blow these up in photoshop later.
Also, the orbs in the second picture, some look like they are oval in shape, not circular, so to me, if they were lens flair, i would expect them to be round, not oval.
Thanks for sharing these with us, it is important that we rule out the possibility of lens flair or other Paranormal Phenomina first.
Lovingheart. |

| The first picture up top was taken at a school with a history of paranormal activity yes. Its a school that is built on an abandoned jailhouse. (Intelligent move, right?) The second, I haven't heard of any reports coming from that one. |

| I do believe in orbs, but true paranormal orbs are hard to come by in photos these days.
I agree with Libra's statement. I feel the same way, but not because of girl #3! |

| Hi John, No disrespect as everyone has an opinion but how can you be so sure these are not orbs, similiarly we cannot be sure these are orbs which tends to leave the question hanging again. There have been many photographers who have admitted they cant explain these orbs\lights. These orb\lights have appeared in outdoor photos as well as indoor photos. The outdoor photos require no flah. I suppose it would be interesting to look through some old black and white photos to see if there were any orbs in those. Obviously it must be near impossible to photograph an Orb when one see's one with the naked eye periphally as it can no longer be seen looking directly at it and the chances of having a camera in your hand at the time are very slim. Also that would mean that dust particles fall mainly into two categories as most of the orbs I have saw in photos I have taken have mainly been of two patterns, all taken with the same camera. Granted I have never noticed any orbs on video, which has now got me thinking I have to look for them next time. Same as I never even noticed them on photos before until someone pointed them out to me. Personally, for myself until someone can actually prove otherwise i'm going to have to believe these are Orbs.

| No worries. I should have been more specific. I was referring to the top picture, which seems to be nothing more than out-of-focus dust reflections. The other picture seems to be something else.
I've done a lot of research into orbs (at least in my past, none of it recent). I've read a great deal about them from a mystical perspective, from a scientific/mystical perspective, and from the perspective of experts in digital photography and optics. At one point I discussed them with Dr. Bruce Maccabee, a former Navy scientist who specializes in analyzing optical phenomena. Some of you may know him. He does some great work analyzing photographs and video evidence of various things.
Based on the photo alone (top photo only), they look like classic dust particulate orbs. I obviously can't say that with any certainty since I wasn't there, but that's what I see in the photo. I will change my mind in a heartbeat if there is other related evidence from that room that points significantly in another direction.
It would be nice if there were pictures taken at the same time with a non-flash camera. Then we could rule out the dust particulate idea. But as a wise mentor of mine used to say, when you hear hoofbeats, think horses, not zebras. In other words, the simplest explanation is usually the best unless there is sufficient evidence to point to a more complex explanation. In this case, even if they are real orbs, they look exactly like dust orbs. |

| Hi John, Sorry, I thought you were talking about Orbs in general. I liked the quote, "when you hear hoofbeats, think horses, not zebras". Yeah its too easy assume. I tend to look for the logical side first to rule out any strange happenings that I come across, even if the sighting has been seen at the same time as another person has saw it. But, after that has been eleminated then my beliefs come into play. Although it would be nice to varify so many things that as of yet we dont know. If we could I believe this would lead us on to such a wonderful path of exploration and discovery. Thanks for the comment on the quote I use. I was trying to explain to a non spiritual friend about spirits when I came up with that one.
